Anyone in or near Dallas that can slot 29 frets at 34" scale for me? I normally cut with the hand saw but it makes my thumb go numb for like a week. This is for a fretless 5 string bass. I have wood but it needs to be sanded so I'm open to buying a piece if it's good fretless material.

I'd just use rattle can spray paint in a nice chartreuse color and free hand it.

Since it's fretless, couldn't you measure with a ruler, rough in about where the fret goes and eyeball it on a router table or table saw? A little wider would be easier to see too.
